I am a 23 year old college graduate from the University of Oklahoma! 

I was born in Louisiana and have always kept that part of my culture with me. So I decided to create " ElliesCajunKitchen". 

I have always had a passion for Cajun cooking, ever since I was a young girl. There is a certain happiness and fulfillment I get when I cook a meal, and I wanted to share that with others! 

It originally started as a Instagram page for me to share meals, and I would eventually upload a few videos to a cooking channel! After becoming more involved in the community at OU, people let me know that they really wanted to try my food. So I decided to sell my food at a business event on campus and it was uphill from there! Everyone loved the meals. ElliesCajunKitchen is currently a catering service and pop-up kitchen, serving through the Norman, Edmond and Greater OKC areas! 

What sets us Apart from the rest:

• We are a Women owned, black owned business

• Homestyle, Soul and Cajun food; our goal is to revolutionize fast food, food doesn’t have to taste bad or be unhealthy when coming from a fast-food restaurant, it should be flavorful, quick, and healthy. 

• A fresh and healthier spin on your favorite comfort dishes (we use a lot of vegetables, fruits, lean meats and low fat in the dishes)

• We aim to work with local farms to source our ingredients (this ensures healthier, fresher food whilst supporting the local economy)
